Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan Comic Con Activation

I was assigned to report on the goings-on at Amazon’s Jack Ryan Camp, in San Diego. Upon arrival in the encampment, proper ID was required upon confirming my credentials as embedded media.

Once properly badged, I began by observing the training procedures as well as exploring the small bazaar present within the walls of this facility. The locals who worked there as well as the new recruit examiners were friendly and accommodating while I waited for my fixer to meet me.

Upon meeting up with my fixer, I was informed that two forms of training are performed and tested, physical ability and psychological ability.

My fixer gave me a rundown of how the “black site” operates and lead me on a tour including the training course and master control room. Once I was in the master control room, the director informed me how this was the first seamless mesh network driven 4D immersive experience. The control room ties together cameras throughout the facility to create a live feed with exterior cameras as well as what the trainee sees. All of these feeds are then fed to the Twitch Feed for the site.

Across the encampment was a training facility which rather than physical skill focused on problem solving. In here a story was played through where you must escape and survive and use the technology available as well as make ethical decisions.

Upon the completion of my time here I was presented by the leadership two challenge coins, and was permitted to disclose what occured in this training camp.
