Carmen Argenziano who is possibly best known for his role as Jacob Carter/Selmak in Stargate SG-1, sadly passed away at the age of 75.
His career stretched for over 50 years with over 100 episodes and TV movies, and 50 film credits. These included playing General Jacob Carter, father of Samantha Carter of SG-1, who retired from the Air Force while dying of cancer and was joined with the Tok’ra Selmak both saving his life and strengthening the alliance between earth and the Tok’ra. His other credits include The Godfather II, and a potential fellowship candidate in House M.D.
He is survived by his wife Lisa and sons Joseph and Tony.
