“Friendship is Universal” Gallery Experience

A special gallery experience occurred during Comic-Con 2024, where two fandoms collided. The “Friendship is Universal” Dr. Who X Star Trek Experience brought original costumes and props from both long-running series to the Gaslamp Quarter of San Diego to highlight the theme of friendship and shared values that stretch between the two universes. This activation also brought photo opportunities as well as special friendship bracelet giveaways.
Intergalactic Friendship Panel: Star Trek x Doctor Who

Sci-fi fans were treated to the ultimate crossover moment at San Diego Comic-Con, where Star Trek met Doctor Who in an epic Intergalactic Friendship Panel on Saturday, July 27, from 5:30-6:30 PM, in Room 6A.
This exclusive creator-to-creator conversation featured Alex Kurtzman, the mastermind behind the Star Trek universe, and Russell T Davies, the driving force behind the Doctor Who Whoniverse. Together, they delved into the art of storytelling across alternative universes while celebrating the boundless power of friendship.
Moderated by TVLine’s Keisha Hatchett, the panel was a can’t-miss moment. As an added bonus, every attendee walked away with a limited-edition Doctor Who x Star Trek poster designed by the talented Dusty Abell. It was a fusion of worlds, stories, and fandoms like no other.
