And for Our First Guest… Clark Gregg

For their first guest announcement Phoenix Fan Fusion has included Agent Coulson himself, Clark Gregg.

Clark Gregg is an american screen and voice actor, writer and director, but is most memorable for many people as Agent Coulson in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

He appeared in the film that began it all, Iron Man (2008), with followup appearances in Iron Man 2 (2010), Thor (2011), The Avengers (2012), Captain Marvel (2019), and the television series Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. since 2013, giving him the longest screen time in the MCU.

As a screenwriter and director, Gregg’s debuted as screenwriter with, What Lies Beneath (Dreamworks), which starred Harrison Ford and Michelle Pfeiffer and was directed by Robert Zemeckis.

His directing debut, Choke, an adaptation of the novel by Chuck Palahniuk, starred Sam Rockwell and Anjelica Huston. Choke premiered at the 2008 Sundance Film Festival, where it was received a Special Jury Prize for Best Ensemble before being distributed by Fox Searchlight.

His second film as writer-director, was the dark indie comedy Trust Me, which starred Gregg along with Sam Rockwell, Allison Janney, Felicity Huffman, William H. Macy, and Amanda Peet. This film  premiered at the 2013 Tribeca Film Festival and was released in May 2014.

ABC announced Jul 18th, 2019 that Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., the longest-running Marvel television series, will end after seven seasons. The final season will premiere May 27, 2020 not long after his appearance at Phoenix Fan Fusion.

Clark Gregg will be appearing Saturday and Sunday with Photo Ops and Signings.
