Pachinko Fever!

Upon further research of the game, I learned several things about Japan I didn’t know before. In Japan, as a way to fight organized crime, gambling for cash prizes is illegal. People have found ways around this but generally, the method of getting your winnings consists of trading your pachinko balls for a voucher or prize, which can be exchanged for cash at a different location. This makes pachinko parlors look like a Dave and Busters, but in all actuality the industry cleared more money then Las Vegas, Macau and Singapore since 2015.

The people at Pachinko Fever allowed us to try out one of the machines ourselves, while I don’t think I played well since I didn’t keep any balls to trade in, I had a lot of fun, and learned something new.
